Outdoor Entertaining on NBC CT

One of the fun things I get to do is visit NBC Connecticut almost monthly! It is great way to share tips, ideas and creative concepts along with expert advice. The folks at NBC CT pretty much let me share and showcase my ideas in a cool way. Plus working with Kerri-Lee Mayland is a blast. I always wish I was better about blogging about my time there but of course like the rest of us, finding time to do that is hard. Though I really suggest finding time to enjoy the outdoors, and why not host the perfect party.
One major outdoor entertaining tip is take care of lighting. Nothing can kill a party faster than all of a sudden sitting in just darkness. Take a little time to prep, use market or bistro lights to add a touch of an outdoor beer garden look. Or use your old holiday lights, if you don't time or the funds to pick up new lighting. One thing that I find to be super important is lighting within your yard. Consider picking up a bottle or two (once you fall in love with the product) of glow in the dark spray paint.
I love the idea of spraying hola hoops and hanging them from the trees. This way as the night goes on, your garden will start to glow. You can even use the paint on rocks in your yard. It will most likely take more than two coats to get it work.
